Designer’s notes

Every adventuring party needs someone willing to raise the shield and take the hit, even if they complain about it afterwards.

Meet Eric, the Cavalier, one of the original heroes from the classic 80s Dungeons & Dragons animated series. Armed with his powerful magic shield and an attitude almost as big as his armour, Eric brought plenty of humour, bravado and occasional panic to the party.

This design captures Eric in the thick of the action, shield raised against a devastating blast, surrounded by the mysterious forests and fantastical landscapes of the D&D realm. The dramatic artwork and distressed finish give it that vintage fantasy feel while celebrating a true piece of 80s cartoon nostalgia.

FAQ

Frequently asked

  • Are these officially licensed?
No, nothing on MFRG is officially licensed. Every design is original artwork I make, inspired by the films, shows, games and pop culture I grew up loving. Fan art with my own twist. If you're after official merch, you'll find it elsewhere.
  • How long does shipping take?
Each piece is printed to order: 3 to 5 working days to print, then 2 to 3 for UK delivery, so 5 to 8 working days all in. International times vary by country. See shipping for the full breakdown.
  • Can I return it if the size is wrong?

Every piece is printed to order, so I'd really rather you nailed the size first time. The Fit & sizing charts above have both inches and cm and the full body-length figures. Give them a proper look. If you're between sizes or unsure which fit suits, drop me a line at hello@myfirstraygun.com with your usual size in another brand and I'll talk you through it before you order.

If it is still not right, you can send it back within 30 days of delivery, unworn and unwashed, and I'll refund the item price; the return postage is yours. I can't do straight swaps, since I hold no stock, so changing size means a return and a fresh order. Anything faulty, damaged or not what you ordered is on me: open a ticket within 30 days and I'll sort a replacement or refund. The full returns policy has the detail.

  • Can you put a design on a different garment?
Absolutely. Drop me a line at hello@myfirstraygun.com with what you're after and I'll see what's available. If I can, I absolutely will.
  • How does the Relaxed tee compare to the Fitted?
The Relaxed is a unisex cut (Gildan 5000): boxier through the chest and waist, slightly longer in the body, heavier 5.3 oz cotton. Runs true to size. If you want a closer silhouette, size down, or try the Fitted tee, a ladies' cut (Gildan 64000L) with a tapered waist and softer hand.
  • Does the Relaxed tee shrink in the wash?
Pre-shrunk cotton, so minimal further shrink (1–3% if washed hot). Wash cold and tumble dry low and it'll hold its shape for years.
